Ohrid Lake
Travel story
Have you ever visited Lake Ohrid, one of the deepest and oldest lakes in Europe? Not yet? Don’t miss your chance if you’re around the area.
The Lake is at the border between North Macedonia and Albania.
So many things to do in the area. You will never get bored and will definitely find something to suit your needs.
A visit in the old town is like travelling back in time. The beautiful, unique architecture is mind blowing. Did you know Ohrid listed as UNESCO Heritage Site in 1980?
If you are lucky to be around the area during summer, there are so many water activities to do besides swimming, such as scuba diving and snorkeling.
Also you can enjoy hiking and walking.
Needless to mention at the restaurants around the lake will definitely add some nice flavor on your visit.
